This is how you make impact as an Account Manager

As an Account Manager within the Sales team, you will be ultimately responsible for managing the running business and expanding new business with existing and new clients. You won’t do this alone but with the customer focus team that you lead (in a matrix organization). You will (informally) manage the account and customer quality engineers, as well as your sales support, order desk, planner, and project manager. Your role is to ensure they collaborate efficiently and that your clients are optimally supported with existing and new business. You are a true relationship manager, creative, and solution oriented. At the same time, you ensure that existing work processes are followed and/or new work processes are developed by the team.

Your daily responsibilities include

  • Ensuring effective customer communication for the running business, New Product Introduction projects, and Lifecycle (engineering) services 
  • Formulating and managing formal agreements, price developments, and performance measurements 
  • Being responsible for the QLTC (Quality, Logistics, Technology, Costs) performance of our company towards the customer

  • No less than a completed bachelor’s degree in business administration or a technical field 
  • At least 5 years of technical commercial work experience in a business-to-business environment (preferably in electronics) 
  • Experience with project management 
  • Work experience in a technical environment 
  • Full-time availability 
  • Good communication and writing skills in English
