As a Customer Focus Team Buyer, your challenge is to communicate with various suppliers within Neways Advanced Applications and ensure optimal procurement for the CF team. In this role, you are the point of contact for procurement-related matters. You serve as the central figure within the team, responsible for both operational and tactical procurement activities.

Our requirements include:
A completed bachelor's degree, e.g., in Procurement, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or Commercial Economics
NEVI 1 / NEVI 2 certification or willingness to obtain it
Affinity or experience with technical environments
Experience with ERP systems
Strong communication and written skills in both Dutch and English
Your Daily Responsibilities
As a CFT Buyer, you will be part of the Customer Focus Team. Our customers operate in the semiconductor and healthcare sectors, requiring complex PCBAs and modules. In our international high-tech, low-volume, high-mix production environment, you’ll act as the liaison between the Customer Focus Team and the procurement organization. You’ll manage all procurement-related activities for the Customer Focus Team. As the first point of contact from the CFTs to the Category Buyers, you’ll report to the Manager of Procurement and work closely with our Category Buyers.
Your tasks include:

Escalation management regarding material availability for the CFT

Supporting Sales Support and Account Engineering with material pricing for customer RFQs, technical changes, and NPI (New Product Introduction)

Assisting in the NPI/Material Change process, including project and gatekeeper meetings

Initiating, managing, and coordinating CFT/Supplier improvement initiatives through the Category Buyer

Coordinating exceptional delivery and forecast requests from customers

Handling complex delivery issues

Evaluating supplier performance for key suppliers for the CFTs

Identifying bottlenecks and proposing process improvements to and from the Category Teams
