As a Competence lead software you are the expert in the field of software and are part of the Design and Engineering group at Neways Technologies. You are responsible for designing and implementing long term development programs and always push for improvement opportunities. In this position you coach designers on technical level and give them the right skills and competences to be successful in projects.

Your daily responsibilities include

  • Facilitate and execute that group members are trained and qualified
  • Coaching on the job or our designers in projects
  • Knowledge gain, maintenance and sharing
  • Being connected and cooperate with the other competence groups and technology clusters

You are a hands-on type of person with extensive work experience who would like to continue working in the technical field. Within this position, you can provide solutions while maintaining calm at the same time. You are challenging our designers on the technical level to commit them to the organization, so that they have the right capabilities for us and our customers.

To do so, you should possess the following qualifications:

 

  • A bachelor or master in electronics or similar;
  • Knowledge of software development tools (eg. IAR, Keil, Eclipse, Jira, Agile scrum, Requirements management);
  • Knowledge and experience with programming (eg. C/C++, Java, VB.net, Phython);
  • Knowledge and experience with software design methodologies (eg. Jordan, UML, OSI-model);
  • Knowledge and experience with OS- and event based software applications is a plus;
  • Knowledge and experience with AUTOSAR architecture is a plus;
  • Knowledge in developing SW for safety critical functions is a plus;
  • Knowledge in developing SW in regulated industries ISO 26262, ISO 13485 is a plus;
  • Knowledge and experience with wireless technologies (Wifi, BT, mobile net) is a plus
  • Good communication and writing skills in English
