This is what you bring to the team
As a Customer Quality Engineer, you are first and foremost customer‑focused and confident in your approach. You ask the right, critical questions to get to the core of an issue. You communicate tactfully with both the internal organisation and the customer, and it is essential that you continue to strengthen the customer relationship from your role. You are naturally persuasive, results‑oriented, and proactive in driving improvements. You easily build and maintain connections both internally and externally. You will report directly to the QESH Manager.
In addition, we ask the following for the Customer Quality Engineer role:
A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 requirements, and experience with related methodologies (PPAP/FMEA/8D, etc.).
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably as a Quality Engineer.
Preferably experience in the automotive, semiconductor, or medical industry.
Strong command of both Dutch and English.
Your daily responsibilities include
In this role, you certainly won’t be working alone. You will be part of a multidisciplinary Customer Focus Team (CFT) and collaborate closely with colleagues within the CFT as well as with the Quality department.
Your responsibilities include:

Managing customer complaints.

Coordinating defect analyses for customer non‑conformities (NC).

Conducting customer audits.
-
Providing quality input for Business Reviews with customers (Voice of Customer).
-
Supporting QESH‑related content during customer contract negotiations.
-
Managing customer‑focused quality improvement plans.
-
Issuing deviation notifications to customers during series production.
-
Safeguarding customer quality requirements during the RFQ phase.
-
Connecting with members of the Customer Focus Team.

Building strong customer relationships and acting as the link between the customer and the CFT.
