This is how you make impact as a Customer Quality Engineer

Your mission as a Customer Quality Engineer is to handle customer complaints properly and within the agreed timeframe. Based on periodic data analysis, you develop Quality Improvement plans. You will do this together with colleagues from other disciplines within the organization. You monitor our quality performance, have frequent discussions with your customers and colleagues and discuss the progress of the plans with them.

Your daily responsibilities include

  • You will collaborate on risk analyses, create control plans and product-related quality documentation;
  • Perform, supervise and follow up on internal audits, supplier audits and customer audits;
  • Ensure management information is available on product & production risks and customer complaints;
  • During the quotation process and the development of new products, ensure that risks are identified and mitigated at an early stage;
  • Actively participate in interdisciplinary & departmental improvement projects.

You will represent us to our customers and lead internal improvement projects. In return, we would like to see in you professional maturity and decisiveness. We also consider it important that you have strong analytical and communication skills, are able to keep an eye on the big picture and above all work in a customer-oriented way.

Furthermore, you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field;
  • At least 3 years of experience in quality within a production environment;
  • Affinity with engineering, experience in electronics is a plus;
  • Experience with handling 8Ds;
  • Experience with working in multidisciplinary teams and project management;
  • Good command of Dutch and English, German is an advantage.
