This is how you make an impact as a Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer your responsible for implementing and maintaining data warehousing and data lake solutions, including writing SQL and Python scripts and developing our ETL processes. You contribute to the platforms development with tools such as Databricks and Azure Data Factory. Working in a small dynamic team where the workload varies from supporting Go-Live of our new ERP/PLM/MES system to supporting reporting and integrations. You will be part of BI team reporting  to the team leader BI with location in Son.

This is wat you bring to the team

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics

  • Advanced SQL/ Python for data ingestion and transformation

  • Experience with pipelines for batch/streaming (Azure data factory)

  • Implementation of Datawarehouse / Data Lake (pro: databricks)

  • You are familiar with Azure Cloud data tools

  • Knowledge of data security

  • Knowledge of data streaming is preferred

  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps Pipelines is preferred

Your daily responsibilities include

  • Help designing, develop, implement and maintain our data catalogue

  • Supporting Neways Project ONE, consisting of a PLM/ERP/MES system

  • Helping with the transition towards an Data warehouse/Lake house solution

  • Working together with business/IT specialists to ensure on time data availability, data quality while upholding architectural standards
