As a End of the Line Functional Test Development Engineer you are responsible for the development, implementation and management of test strategies within the production environment, such that products can be delivered according to product specifications. You develop and compile both software and hardware tests and maintenance instructions and you look for new and improved test methods. You build an environment with which we can simulate the customer’s machine and use it to test the (customer) product. By means of scripts, programming and documentation of necessary test hardware, you describe the design of a good test interface and the correct test software. In addition, you also contribute to the development and further expansion of the test platform and the test methods that we can apply. You are in frequent contact with test engineers, test operators, production, purchasing and you maintain contact with the customer about the test methods followed and provide them with the necessary advice and technical information. You work a lot with the production management and account managers and you report to the Manager Engineering.
