Additionally, you have:
Bachelors or Masters degree
> 10-15 years of experience with team leadership
Strong technical experience and knowledge within a production setting
Experience in defining and rolling out novel production processes and concepts, including industrialization
Knowledge of how to generate and roll-out new procedures and process flows within the engineering context
Experience with working in ERP systems
Experience with working with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
The Engineering Manager has the following responsibilities:

Allocating and managing the capacity of account, manufacturing, testing and process engineers

Support building replacements, improvements or adaptations with a team of technical service operators, that cooperate with external partners when necessary

Align with other operating company’s engineering managers during product transfer planning, equipment investment and other strategic decision-making

Ensuring that production is given sufficient preparation to enable QLTC performing production processes by the means of work instructions, test programs and adaptions, machinery, etc.

Ensure that production issues are troubleshooted effectively and quickly, guaranteeing minimal production stand-still

Developing new technological competences, driven either by New Product Introductions (NPI’s) or as dictated by the Neways wide Factory of the Future program

Ensuring that the engineering team is aligned with the Neways wide engineering organization, primarily via active membership of the Engineering Management Meeting (EMM)

Develop a continuous improvement mindset within the engineering team, in cooperation with the management

Driving the roll-out of the Neways Values within the engineering team in cooperation with local Management Team

Developing the individual experience, knowledge and skills of the engineers in the team
