This is what you bring to the team:
Completed vocational training or a degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field of education/training
Several years of professional experience in the relevant specialist area
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Good command of English, both written and spoken
Reliability, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently
Professional and friendly demeanor, combined with excellent teamwork and collaboration skills

Your daily responsibilities include

Preparation of quotations and acquisition of orders:
-
For new customers in collaboration with the New Business Team
-
For new products from existing customers in collaboration with the Key Account Manager
-
Relocation/transfer of products to other Neways locations
-

Review of customer inquiry documentation for completeness
-
Creation of technical documentation for drawing parts (if not available)
-
Preparation of specifications for new machines, assembly lines, fixtures, etc., in cooperation with the relevant departments

Determination of the required process steps based on customer documentation
-
Preparation of bills of materials (BOMs) in the material costing sheet for material inquiries
-
Preparation of labor cost calculations and feasibility analyses
-
Negotiation of material prices with manufacturers and suppliers
-
Price negotiations for machines, assembly lines, and production fixtures
-
Preparation of quotation cost calculations (combining material and labor costs)
-
Preparation of quotation letters or handover to the Sales department
-
Support of the Engineering CT Team Leader with organization and communication (internal and cross-departmental)

Participation in the collection and monitoring of relevant KPIs within the area of responsibility

Proactive process optimization and quality improvement
-
Customer support regarding technical, quality, and sales-related questions

Customer visits to clarify technical issues and requirements.
