As a Logistics Coordinator, you keep our supply chain moving smoothly by coordinating daily import and export activities, ensuring shipments clear customs on time, and supporting fast, accurate deliveries to our customers. You’ll work closely with supply chain, warehouse, production, and logistics partners to maintain precise stock flow, compliant documentation, and reliable material movement across free zone and customs areas. Additionally, you have:
Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 4–5 year's experience in logistics, shipping, or customs documentation (experience in an EMS or manufacturing environment preferred).
Knowledge of import/export procedures and customs forms (K1–K8) is a must.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP or equivalent).
Conversational English and good written communication skills required.
Hands-on, organized, and able to work under minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities

Logistics Operations
-
Coordinate daily inbound and outbound shipments, including import/export arrangements, customs clearance, and transport scheduling.

Prepare and process customs forms such as K1, K2, K3, and K8 in compliance with Malaysian customs and free zone requirements.

Liaise with freight forwarders, couriers, and transporters to monitor shipment progress and ensure timely delivery.

Resolve delivery issues, shipment discrepancies, and coordinate corrective actions with relevant teams.

Prepare shipping documentation including packing lists, invoices, and airway bills accurately and promptly.
2. Inventory & Material Movement

Work closely with warehouse and production teams to support smooth material flow and maintain accurate stock records.

Assist in inventory counts, stock reconciliation, and ensure goods are properly labeled and stored.

Coordinate material transfers between free zone and customs area according to company and regulatory guidelines.
3. Documentation & Compliance

Maintain proper filing of logistics and shipping documents for audit and traceability purposes.

Ensure full compliance with customs, MITI, and internal company procedures.

Keep updated on changes in customs regulations, tariff codes, and free zone policies.
4. Cost & Performance Tracking

Support in tracking logistics expenses and highlight cost variances to the supervisor.

Record and report key logistics KPIs such as on-time delivery and shipment accuracy.

Suggest ideas for improving logistics processes and reducing inefficiencies.
