Additionally, you have:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
Minimum 8–12 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably within an EMS or electronics manufacturing environment.
Minimum 3–5 years in a managerial or team leadership role.
Strong understanding of electronics components, BOM structures, supply chain strategies (like MRP) and EMS supply chain challenges.
Experience managing suppliers across Asia and global supply networks.
The Manager Supply Chain Management has the following responsibilities:
A) Supply Chain Planning & Execution
Oversee demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and material readiness for production.
Lead a team of planners and ensure good collaboration with Operations, Engineering and Quality teams to ensure on-time delivery.
Monitor and mitigate supply risks including shortages, long lead-time components, and geopolitical impacts.
Ensure effective management of forecast changes, ramp-ups, and NPI (New Product Introduction) activities.
B) Supplier Management & Quality Collaboration
Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure performance in Sustainability, Quality, Logistics, Technology and Costs.
Support supplier audits, qualification, and corrective action processes in collaboration with Supplier Quality Engineering.
Lead supplier performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
C) Inventory & Cost Control
Optimize inventory levels to balance service level, working capital, and obsolescence risks.
Monitor excess and obsolete (E&O) materials and drive disposition or mitigation actions.
Track and report procurement and supply chain KPIs including cost savings, inventory turns, and OTIF performance.
D) Team Leadership & Development
Lead, coach, and develop a team covering procurement, planning, and supply chain operations.
Set clear objectives, performance targets, and development plans for team members.
Foster a culture of trust, teamwork, passion, innovation and customer focus.
E) Systems & Process Excellence
Ensure effective use of ERP/MRP systems for procurement, planning, and inventory control.
Drive process standardization, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support audits, compliance requirements, and internal control standards.
