Repair Process Engineer

Our Service Center focuses on repair, upgrade, harvesting, and re-manufacturing, which are essential pillars for Neways. The combination of complex customer return processes and continuous improvement forms the core of this role. As a Repair Process Engineer, you ensure that the flow within our return chain is optimized and act as a direct sparring partner for our operations and logistics colleagues in our high-tech environment.

This is how you make impact as a Repair Process Engineer

As a Repair Process Engineer, you analyze, improve, and harmonize the logistics, supply chain, and operations-oriented customer return flows of our company. You will be in direct contact with Unit Managers, Production Planners, and Supply Chain Planners. You are capable of converting big data into actionable information, which you ultimately use to (re)design and implement processes. You are responsible for the entire flow, from registering an RMA to delivering the repair to the customer

Your daily responsibilities include

You will tackle themes such as refurbishment, service & repair, sustainability, delivery performance, inventory management, lead time reduction, flexibility, and workload balancing. You will work closely with our Customer Focus Teams, which represent various disciplines such as engineering, planning, procurement, and production. You will be thoroughly challenged to harmonize and optimize all activities that contribute to the flow within our production environment.

Additional Tasks:

  • Designing and implementing logistics concepts around service & repair;
  • Coordinating activities that contribute to an optimal flow in our production;
  • Improving the information flow both within production and towards the Customer Focus Teams;
  • Assessing the logistical priority of repair orders and taking appropriate measures;
  • Enhancing and further developing the use of the ERP system and related tools.

  • A completed HBO/WO education in Logistics, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management;
  • Preferably, experience in a similar role or as a supply chain engineer or supply chain analyst. Starters are also warmly invited to apply;
  • Good knowledge and experience with MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
