Additionally, you have:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in equivalent related field
Minimum 5 - 10 years of experience and 2 years of working experience as a Senior Buyer in purchasing/procurement in electronic manufacturing industry.
Good communication, proactive problem solving, follow-up and negotiation skills.
Familiar with Microsoft Applications such Excel and knowledge of Infor system will be an advantage.

Your daily responsibilities include:

Analyse, plan and execute purchase orders for electronics components to support production needs according to customer demand and projects.

Maintain purchasing parameters; lead-time, cancellation window, reschedule window, minimum order qty’s and etc. and supplier details in the system.

Manage inventory, excess and obsolescence to minimize to avoid shortages or overstock.

Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery.

Work closely with the suppliers to pull in and pushout or rescheduling material.

Address and resolve supplier issues, including delays and non-conformance
-
Support on cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.

Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure purchased components meet technical specifications and ensure accuracy of data for the order execution

Stay updated on market trends, new technologies, and component availability and analyze market conditions to forecast pricing trends and to avoid risk.
