Summary
This is how you make impact as a Shopfloor Planner
In this position, as Production Planner, you and your 4 colleagues will be operationally responsible for production planning, supporting the various customer teams responsible for their own customer group. Your days start with a day start at production, after which you will consult with the production team leaders and unit managers. From there you will discuss the day’s priorities and start planning. You will frequently consult with the Customer Support Planners, who internally represent the customer. They know what the customer needs, which you can translate into a solid production planning. Besides your operational tasks, you will be part of improvement teams, to continue to optimize our processes.
Your daily responsibilities include
- Reviewing the progress of production orders;
- Acting as a point of contact to and from the customer teams in case of changing customer demand or priorities;
- Making improvement proposals for optimizing the planning and participating in improvement projects;
- Managing production by means of a thorough production plan and discussing progress.
- Coordinating short-term production capacity issues with team leaders.

In this role, you play a crucial part in ensuring the timely delivery of our complex and high-quality electronic modules to our renowned clients in the high-tech sector. To accomplish this effectively, we require the following:
- A Bachelor’s degree in logistics or industrial engineering & management; If you have a MBO degree and already have relevant experience as a production planner, we also strongly invite you to apply.
- Experience from a production environment, for example during an internship;
- You are decisive and work in a planned manner;
- Excellent communication skills, both in Dutch and English;
- You are goal-oriented and have strong problem-solving skills;
- You easily maintain contact with others, dare to express yourself and enjoy working together on improvements.
