As the Strategic Procurement Team Leader, you are responsible for the further development and management of strategic procurement, as well as for leading a dedicated procurement team.

Your Responsibilities:
Providing technical and managerial leadership to the Strategic Procurement team
Monitoring market developments regarding material availability and price trends
Sourcing and onboarding new suppliers and contract manufacturers
Maintaining constant communication with suppliers regarding quality, prices, lead times, and delivery terms
Negotiating prices and terms, including preparing corresponding framework agreements
Development and implementation of a procurement strategy
Further development of the supplier evaluation system
Implementation of a tender management system for specific product groups
Commercial project responsibility for new product launches
Collaboration on projects involving product and packaging changes, including responsibility for cost-optimized phase-out management
Close collaboration with the Purchasing Operations, Logistics, Sales, and Quality departments
Tracking supplier metrics and the status of the continuous improvement process at suppliers regarding quality, on-time delivery, and costs (QLTC)
Conducting and repeating business reviews with suppliers based on QLTC
Ensuring that suppliers and products comply with REACH, RoHS, and Conflict Minerals regulations

Your Profile
-
A successfully completed degree in business administration (Bachelor’s/Master’s) or comparable education
-
Several years of professional experience in a comparable role
-
Extensive experience in negotiation
-
Strong knowledge of setting up and working with supplier management systems
-
Strong knowledge of project and product management is a plus
-
Very good, business-level proficiency in German and English
-
Very good knowledge of ERP (INFOR) and MS Office (especially Excel),

Analytical thinking Assertiveness combined with empathy

Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team, and organizational skills

Problem- and goal-oriented, independent, and self-directed approach to work
