This is how you make impact as a Test Engineer

As a test engineer you ensure that the satisfaction of our customers is your top priority. Working closely with our customers’ development teams, you will develop solutions for a wide range of topics in the areas of connectivity, smart mobility and semiconductors.

Your daily responsibilities include

  • Test development and execution for embedded systems development projects
  • Manual, semi-automatic and automatic testing of electronic assemblies and firmware
  • New and further development of existing test setups for electronic assemblies
  • Designing and implementing test concepts using state-of-the-art methods
  • Creation and modification of test reports, analyses and evaluations
  • Discussion of test results together with the customer
  • Support in specification and design with regard to design-for-testability

This is what you bring to the team:

  • Technical studies or further training as an electrical engineering technician
  • Several years of professional experience in hardware/software testing or test management (NI, Python) during the product development process using modern methods and tools
  • Basic understanding of environmental testing and EMC tests (electromagnetic compatibility)
  • Strong communication skills and a high level of analytical competence
  • Initiative and solution-oriented way of working
  • Good command of English
