Jules Rosheuvel, QESH Manager
“My team and I ensure that products are made correctly and delivered to customers with the right quality. We also make sure we’re doing our part for the planet and that people work safely in a pleasant environment. This benefits everyone, including Neways. In this field, you have to enjoy dealing with problems. My role is to identify areas where processes at Neways Electronics can be improved under the motto: ‘never waste a good crisis.’ People make mistakes, and you can learn a lot from them. If I walk away from a problem without making improvements, I’m not doing my job properly. You know problems will arise, so you need to organize them well. To do that, you need a passion for quality and the ability to think ahead. Of course, you’re allowed to make mistakes and ask for help, but you need to learn from them, so you’ll make a different mistake next time.”
“Feeling good in your own skin leads to great work.”
Rosheuvel takes pride in his role as a manager. His team is dedicated to quality across all areas of the organization. “Every complaint is an opportunity,” he says. “It’s up to you to take it on. We have a team of highly skilled individuals who are all free to be themselves. There’s a mix of personalities and quirks, but we all share the same vision of quality and processes, which makes us like a family. I always say: feeling good in your own skin leads to great work.”
“It’s not just about working hard; we’re truly here for each other.”
“I chose Neways Electronics for its people-oriented culture. It’s not just about working hard; we’re truly here for each other. On top of that, I can make a direct impact through my work. I’ve implemented processes here that will be used for the next ten years. Neways is ready for the next step in its growth, and as a manager, it’s my responsibility to help people grow along with it.”
“I want to protect both the customer and Neways from poor products.”
The electronics produced by Neways Electronics truly contribute to the world around us. Just last week, my mother was in an MRI scanner that uses our electronics. Our high-end technology is indirectly present in nearly every device people use. That motivates me to ensure the quality is excellent and that customers can rely on us. I want to protect both the customer and Neways from poor products. I do this with an amazing team of amazing people. Everyone here works hard, and while things sometimes go wrong, that’s part of being a fast-growing company. As a quality manager, it’s my job to learn from those mistakes and make improvements.”
