Kevin Lange - Module Assembler
“I could start the very next Monday.”
At his previous job, Kevin Lange unknowingly worked his way up to a leadership position. It was there that he realized he wasn’t happy sitting behind a computer in an office. Kevin wanted a hands-on role, and as a Module Assembler at Neways Electronics, he has truly found his place. Especially when precision is required, Kevin finds the time flying by.
“Time flies when I’m focused on precision.”
“As a Module Assembler, I assemble Neways Electronics products. That includes tasks like soldering circuit boards or placing components on them. Our team handles all the work that’s too complex for machines, using screwdrivers, socket wrenches, and soldering irons. It’s incredibly precise work. For almost all Neways electronics, placement accuracy is critical. Some sensors, for example, need to be positioned exactly 1.5 millimeters from the insulation. That’s soldered while looking through a microscope. Those are the best tasks. Time flies when I’m working with that level of precision. It’s incredibly satisfying. I’m the type of person who loves tinkering and assembling things—I even build my own computers at home. This job is anything but boring. Far from it.”
“I want to be vital to Neways’ production process.”
“In my previous job, I spent more time behind a desk than I wanted to. I prefer being directly involved in the process, learning the skills that go with it. I want to be a key part of Neways’ production process, and I know I’ve still got a lot of growth ahead of me. My goal is to join the high-skills team, and I have every opportunity to make that happen. At Neways, I can design my own learning path with support from my mentor. The company is genuinely invested in my development. Every day here is different, with new tasks and challenges to tackle.”
“Everyone here is focused on improvement.”
“We’re all working toward the same goal—technical progress. Neways Electronics is a company striving to improve the world, growing alongside the Brainport region, and we grow with it internally. Soon, there’ll be a major expansion of the building, but I know the open-door culture here won’t change. Across departments, everyone is looking for ways to improve. The flat organizational structure makes everything accessible. No matter who you need to solve a problem, you can just give them a call.”
“I could start the very next Monday.”
“I ended up here through a staffing agency focused on the tech industry. I wanted to learn hands-on skills, like soldering, and develop myself further. I had an interview on a Tuesday, an intake on Thursday, and by the following Monday, I was already working. That was over a year and a half ago. Since then, I’ve made friends here who I game with in my free time. On weekends, we’ll be online, shooting at each other in games. Even the food has been a plus, thanks to my colleagues from all over the world. Recently, we had a lunch where everyone brought their own dishes. I got to try Polish dumplings and lasagna made Latin American-style. I’m not planning on leaving Neways anytime soon. I genuinely enjoy coming to work every day.”
